Have a licensed and experienced Montessori educator meet with you in your home for an hour long consultation to provide short-term action plans for straightforward parenting challenges such as:
organizing and maximizing your child’s space
creating developmentally appropriate activities to promote independence
constructing daily and weekly schedules

Ready to commit to change? Dig deep to understand your child’s behavior and how to move forward. Spend an hour each week, in home or online, to set goals, create action plans and be held accountable as you tackle moderate family challenges including:
establishing morning and afternoon routines
creating age appropriate chore charts
managing school-home transitions
setting and enforcing family rules
responding to sibling conflicts

With continued time to work with families, three months of one hour weekly coaching as well as these additional services will ensure long-lasting results:

The Montessori Method
Dr. Maria Montessori was the first female physician in Italy. After working as a doctor for several years, she began to study child development and education. Through her observations of children’s natural learning abilities, she developed the Montessori Method of education based on the belief that children are naturally curious and capable of learning independently when put in the right environment. Montessori believed that children thrive when there is order, structure, simplicity and beauty. She knew that independence builds confidence as children learn through their own successes and failures. The end result is children who are grounded in their physical, cognitive, emotional and social skills, ready to take on the next challenge they face.

Who we are
Montessori Mavens was founded by Naomi Grossman Gomez after spending 25 years in the classroom. Experienced in a variety of educational settings including, public, private, international and Montessori schools, she has also earned both her Masters in Teaching and the American Montessori Institute certificate. Naomi is passionate about helping children realize their potential and families find their peace.
